  2nd time I've done the Olympic distance. Weather better this time. Swim - if I take my nerves out of the equation - awesome. The water is warm, pretty calm, and freshwater. Course good. Only gripe, for short-sighted swimmers, difficult to pick out the exit ramp. Bike - a change from last year, hugely improved from spectators pov, but v technical for riders (dead turns, tight roundabouts, etc). Road surface not great, but that's an issue for the council. Run - good flat course, barrage lovely. The transition deserves a mention - Roald Dahl Plas is the best place ever for a transition! Cardiff Bay does us proud as a venue. I've already pre-registered for next year.
