  I hail from Swansea so I'm a bit biased. And the stunning weather really helped. But AWESOME!! The swim was in calm water (1st experience of saltwater swimming & I'm not a fan, but that's hardly their fault!), the bike leg was flat & fast & well designed. I would imagine if the weather/wind was bad it might be a bit grim as it is on the coast, but in 2016 - fab. The run was great too - a bit sandy & the paths a bit narrow to share with the public, but at my pace, no problem. Again, bad weather would transform the run as it is literally feet from the beach. But in 2016 - I WAS distracted from the run by the view - it kept my mind from the pain! The finish was pretty special too - red carpet, crowds, and the kids allowed in finish funnel and got a medal too. Huge medal too. :-)

  Great setting, great atmosphere, great crowds. The run on the sea front was good but no water station and too many members of the public wondering around hindering the runners. Overall it was great but i think they need to find a better route for the run and a spot for a water station. I would enter this event again and recommend it as well.
