"More than just a great race" 

Mark Livesey is the race director for Functional Fitness Events.   He has competed in triathlon for over 17 years and in that time he has won many domestic events, including National Age Group titles at most distances and World Age Group medals. Later on he tired his luck at Elite level racing at all distances ranging from Sprint to Ironman with some notable results including 14^th over Elite at the European 70.3 Championships in 2011 and 14^th Elite at Ironman Austria 2011.   He still trains hard and hopes to go to Kona next year.  So who better to orgainse triathlons for triathletes of all abilities?  

In only 2 years Functional Fitness Multi Sport Events is fast becoming the must do triathlon events in North Yorkshire.   Mark says " Newby Hall is arguably one of the best race venues in the country with its iconic house and gardens as your backdrop.  We don't just organise a great event, it's our mission to make sure the whole family have a great day out. This is why we have been awarded the Triathlon England National Duathlon Championships for 2014."
