Ironman Wales takes place amidst the castles and stunning landscapes of Pembrokeshire on the South Wales coast. After a 2.4 mile sea swim in the historic setting of Tenby, a challenging 112 mile bike ride takes in some big climbs before athletes face the the 26.2 mile run to the finish.

This prestigious event enjoys big crowds and offers athletes a chance to qualify for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

The race attracts thousands of triathletes, including some of the world’s leading pros and Welsh rugby legends, Shane Williams, Ryan Jones and Ian Gough.
